Abstract

470,453. Switch covers. CRABTREE & CO., Ltd., J. A., and McLOUGHLIN, H. F. Feb. 15, 1937, No. 14264. Divided application. [Class 38 (v)] In a multi-pole switch fuse having a cover b for the fuses b<1> hinged at g to the normallyfixed switch cover c, the switch-operating handle d is arranged to project above a part b2 of the fuse-cover b so as to prevent it being opened when the switch is " on." The above parts also co-operate to prevent the switch being closed when the fuse-cover is open. The handle d rotates on a spindle d<1> and carries round with it a crank e, which engages a slot in a slide f, an aperture f3 in which engages and actuates the dolly of a tumbler switch.
