[Also in Group XXII] The switchgear c of an electrically-driven radial-arm drilling machine is mounted within the radial arm a on a panel b carried by straps d and an adjustable abutment f<SP>1</SP> on a removable cover-plate f maintains a spring-loaded isolating switch g in the closed position until the cover is removed; the switch g may be of the lever or push-button type. The bent-up ends d<SP>1</SP> of the straps are secured to a flange a<SP>2</SP> round the opening in the radial arm and extend across a portion only of the width of the flange so that they locate the cover.
