Abstract
468,806. Two-part couplings. BREEZE CORPORATIONS, Inc. April 20, 1936, No. 11276. Convention date, May 8, 1935. [Class 38 (i)] In a socket unit 2, the socket tubes 30 are retained in bores 28 in the block 26 by a slotted plate 35 held to the block by a screw 36. The block, spaced from the end 23 of the bushing 22 by a sleeve 24, is retained in the shell 20 by a ring 27. When the pin unit I is correctly presented, the pins 15, one of which may be a dummy post and longer than the rest, enter the socket tubes 30 and prevent the block 26 from rotating while the shell 20 is screwed into the shell 4. In a modification, the screw 36 is centrally placed, and the block 26 is fastened by it to an elbow, the sleeve 24 and ring 27 being dispensed with.
