468,167. Powder and liquid dispensers. PARKES, T. H. Oct. 13, 1936, No. 27770. [Classes 18 and 125 (iii)] The pouring aperture 3 of a powder or liquid dispenser can be closed by a valve 7, which can be rotated by an external knob 5. The valve is made of non-corrosive material and has a cut-away portion 9 which, when it lies opposite the aperture 3, allows the contents of the dispenser to be poured out. A mark 10 on the knob 5 indicates when the valve is "open" and a stop 11 limits the movement of the valve. If there is more than one pouring aperture, the valve has a corresponding number of cut-away portions, the cap 1 housing the valve, &c. is screwed to the container or held on by spring fingers.
