468,046. Joint - making packing. WARD, L. C. B. Sept. 20, 1935, No. 26081. [Class 122 (iii)] A resilient washer 3 is provided with a metal &c. sheathing 4a which extends around the outer edge of the ring and leaves the inner edge of the washer free to flex, a greater area being covered by the sheathing on one side than on the other. The sheathing may comprise two washers of unequal size one of which is spun over the outer edge of the washer 3 to clamp the other. The sheathing may be thickened or provided with pressed radial or concentric ribs in the wider face.
