[Class 83 (iii)] Workpieces, such as aircraft propellers of light alloy, are mounted for machining on a bed 3 of freshly mixed plaster, which is allowed to set and the workpiece 4 then secured by lever clamps 5 ... 8. The clamps are removed separately in succession to treat the portions of the work lying under the clamps. The opposite side of the work is machined in a similar way.
