Abstract
Aluminium alloys of the kind containing 6,1-16 per cent of magnesium contain also 0,05-0,5 per cent of chromium or titanium or both with or without any of the following: 0,1-0,8 per cent of zinc, 0,2-1 per cent of silicon, or 0,1-0,5 per cent of manganese. Sheets of the alloys may be rolled at 350-450 DEG C., with intermediate annealings, followed by cold rolling and a final annealing for 24 hours at 100 DEG C.
