Abstract

466,527. Drying-cabinets. RICHARDSON, S. H. Feb. 5, 1936, No. 3506. [Class 34 (i)] A drying-cabinet for removing moisture from various articles, for example, cigars, is formed with hollow sides 1, roof 2 and base 3. The front is adapted to be closed by one or more doors 4 and the back 5 may be removable. An electric heating element 6 is located in the base 3 which is formed with an inlet 9 for air. Heated air ascends within the hollow sides 1 and passes through perforations 10 to the interior of the cabinet from which it passes out through perforations 13 to the roof for discharge through an outlet 11. A thermostat 14 is provided to maintain a predetermined temperature. The articles to be dried are supported on shelves 15.
