466,074. Inverted gas burners. NICO LIGHT CO., Ltd., and GREEN, R. E. July 3, 1936, No. 18509. [Class 75 (i)] In an inverted burner, the inlet to the mixing- chamber A is provided with a serrated flange D and each nozzle C with a perforated plate C<1> for preventing backfiring. The recesses in the flange D may be parallel, or at an angle, to the axis of the inlet. The burner may be made of ceramic ware with one or more integral, or detachable, nozzles.
