[Class 38 (ii)] [Also in Group XL] The heating-circuit for the filament of a thermionic valve comprises coaxial leads 207,209 coiled to form a high-frequency inductance for currents flowing through the inner and outer conductors in parallel. The inductance can be adjusted by varying the pitch of the coil.
