Abstract
464,990. Making baths. ORME, EVANS, & CO., Ltd., and ORME, H. A. Oct. 30, 1935, No. 29913. [Class 83 (ii)] In a bath of the type comprising sections joined together, and having a curved head portion which is inclined rearwardly and curves into the side walls and bottom of the bath, one section includes at least one half of the head portion and the complete edge of said section to be jointed forms a welded joint lying in a single plane running transversely or longitudinally of the bath. Two end sections 1, 2, Fig. 1, are secured by welded joints 4, 5 to a central section 3. Two sections 7, 8, Fig. 4, are welded at their longitudinal junction 9. The flange 6 is shaped before or after welding.
