Abstract

Expansion joints.- In a pipe expansion joint of the kind described in Specification 131,208, the tubular member 1, having an outward bulge 2 with flattened apex, is formed in one piece by pressing and is afterwards connected to the flanges 3 by welding. The walls of the bulge are slightly inclined as shown.
