Seamed joints.-Relates to sheet-metal drums &c. of the type wherein the ends are double seamed and rolled to the body as shown at f, Fig. 1, and consists in making the longitudinal seam in known manner by flanging the mating edges internally and connecting them with a double flanged hook-plate c, the whole seam being pressed or rolled and sweated or welded externally, and smoothed off at the point where the flanges abut.
