464,324. Moulds for casting pipes. BRADER, G. B., and MITCHELL, G. S. Nov. 4, 1935, No. 28509/36. Divided out of 460,926. [Class 87 (ii)] A mould for casting concrete or cement pipes comprises inner and outer tubular members a, b the annular space between them being closed by end pieces d, e which make watertight joints with the tubular members by means of packing rings r, r<1>. In the construction shown in Fig. 1, the member b is provided with flange members b<10> and bolts b<20> pass through openings in the members b<10>, d, e to hold the parts together, the packing rings r<1> and r being sprung into recesses in the members d, e. In the construction shown in Fig. 2 the rings r<1> are held between the end pieces d, e and rings b<12>, b<11> secured to the member b.
