462,688. Discharge lamps. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., and PAGE, T. C. S. Sept. 13, 1935, No. 25457. [Class 39 (i)] A high-pressure metalvapour discharge lamp 1 is supported within an outer envelope 9 by the leads 2, 2<1> which are welded to bent conductors 3, 8 having connections with the terminal cap 10 ; the lower end of the conductor 8 has a bend into which hooks a spiral spring 13, which engages between two of its turns a flange 12 on a vitreous tube 11 fused to the envelope 9. The flange 12 may be discontinuous.
