Abstract
461,112. Spray-producers. KELLEY, I. D. June 11, 1936, No. 16352. [Class 69 (iii)] A compressed air or gas sprayer comprises a casing 15, provided with a closure member 11 against which a compressed air or gas cartridge 16 is pressed by a screw 42 and carrying a hollow perforating needle 20. Within the member 11 is a hollow plug 23 carrying a seating for a spring-pressed valve 28 which normally prevents passage of gas but is opened by a lever 38 bearing against an elastic gasket 36 to which the valve stem is attached. To prevent accidental opening of the valve the lever may be locked in the inoperative position by a nut 41. The outlet 40 is attached to the gas inlet of an atomizer bottle. A stand 44 in which the casing 15 is adjustably mounted provides for the apparatus being used in bottles of different size.
