460,650. Moulding dough by rolling- machines. STAUMONT, T. April 29, 1935, No. 12779. Void. Convention date, April 28, 1934. [Class 87 (ii)] A machine for rolling-up dough into elongated cylindrical or other form comprises a fixed shell body 1 having a U-shaped bottom 2 with substantially transverse corrugations or other deformations on the inner side thereof as from a to b, a U-shaped adjustable cover 7 and an endless band 5 mounted on rollers 3, 4 within the body 1. The free end of the bottom terminates in a hopper part 6 where the dough is introduced and rolled between the band 5 and the corrugations. It is then carried up to the cover 7 where a final shaping is effected and the dough roll ejected on to a table. The cover 7 is hinged at 13 to the body and its position relative to the band 5 is adjusted by a screw. The body and rollers are mounted in a wheeled frame which carries an electric motor driving the roller 3 through a belt and pulleys. The band 5 may be of cotton fabric and means may be provided to move the rollers apart to adjust the stretching of the fabric.
