460,444. Tins for containing powdered substances. BURTON, H. H., and JOHN BULL RUBBER CO., Ltd. July 27, 1935, No. 21344. [Class 18] A receptacle for powdered substances, e.g. powdered chalk for tyre repairs, has a discharge aperture c in the lid or upper portion of the container which is closed by a cylindrical piece d of indiarubber which may have a screw-thread on its exterior or may be normally of larger size than the aperture c. The rim of the aperture may have an annular depression or be turned inwards, the lid may be sealed by a strip b of adhesive tape or by solder &c., and the container may have no separable lid.
