398,336. Labelling containers. ROBINSON, F. G., Canister Works, Southcoates Lane, Hull. Aug. 11, 1932, No. 22467. [Class 73.] A disc, tablet, or the like for indicating the colour or other particulars of the contents of a tin &c. is disposed in a stamped depression or sinking formed in the body or other sheet metal part of the tin or in a sheet metal holder secured thereto, the disc being retained in place by the mouth edge of the depression being made to overhang the base thereof. The disc &c. 3 may be made slightly larger than the mouth opening, being then sprung into place, or it may be made of convex or concave form and be flattened after insertion. The disc may, alternatively, be placed in the depression before the mouth edge thereof is wheeled down or turned over.
