460,103. Motor vehicle frames. KELLNER, A. Nov. 29, 1935, No. 33161. [Class 79 (iv)] The diagonal bracing members 3, 4 of a motor vehicle frame are recessed or cut away to form a well for the passengers' feet. The members may be shaped to the required form by pressing or, as shown, by cutting away the upper portion of each between the points 5 and 6, the lower portion left being reinforced by welding thereto, on one side, a channel bar 7 and, on the opposite side, an angle bar 14, together with finishing plates 9, 10, 11.
