S., 33, Waldemar Avenue, Fulham, and LOCKLIGHTS, Ltd., 9, Stratford Place, both in London. July 14, 1932, No. 19941. [Classes 20 (ii) and 20 (iii).] Sash-bars of I or H-section, of the kind which are jointed at crossing points by cutting away a part of the flange and web 3, 4, from each so as to allow the two parts to be connected at an angle, have the slot in the web of one or each bar widened by an inclined or curved side 8<1>, allowing the inserted bar to be tilted beneath the glass 12, Fig. 8, when glazing. The sashbars are connected to the outer frame by tapering and cutting grooves 9 for the inturned edges of the frame, as described in Specification 367,706. A diagonal sash-bar may be inserted in an angle between two bars by leaving a projecting piece of web and cutting the flanges to fit the meeting edges of the flanges of the bars, Fig. 13.
