453,278. Collapsable boats. HOUNSFIELD, L. H., 81, Morland Road, Croydon. March 8, 1935, No. 7260. [Class 113 (ii)] [See also Groups XIV and I] In making canvas on metalframe boats, the canvas 5 is wrapped round a frame bar 2 and is secured by bending over a blade member 1 forming part of a T-shaped or like piece 3, so that it is wrapped round the bar 2 and the bend of the fabric. The piece 3 may be socketed as shown, or spigoted for the attachment of a leg member 4. The inner surface of the part 1 may be ridged or roughened.
