Abstract
330,209. Schiess-Defries Akt.-Ges. Oct. 29, 1928, [Convention date]. Forging-machines.-The guide bars 4 for the upsetting-slide 3 of a forging-machine are turned down at the ends 6 to engage recesses in the machine frame 1 and held rigid by a wedge 7 so that the working stresses on the machine frame are taken up by the bars. Transverse stresses are taken up by transverse bars 4<1> disposed on the guide bars and similarly turned down at the ends to engage the machine frame.
