Abstract

457,398. Wireless receiving-apparatus. COLE, Ltd., E. K., Priory Crescent, Southendon-Sea, and ROWE, H. C., 56, Crowstone Avenue, Westcliff-on-Sea. June 29, 1935, No. 18631. [Class 40 (v)] In a receiver operating on at least two short wave bands a switch is provided to insert in the input of a valve one or other of inductance coils L4 L5, L6 which are shunted by pre-set condenser C1, C2, C3 respectively. The switch by leaving contacts 5, 6 open circuit, disconnects the coil L5 from the condenser C2 when the range is not in use, to prevent the formation of an absorption circuit.
