456,166. Weft stop-motions for shuttleless looms. WALKER & CO. (SHIPLEY), Ltd., W., Wrose Brow Road, Windhill, Shipley, and BLOODWORTH, C., 21, Conduit Street, Bradford, both in Yorkshire. June 5, 1935, No. 16302. [Class 142 (i)] Stopping mechanism for looms with stationary weft supply comprises a catch T located over a cam operated frog or hammer F and connected to a lever B-B<2> that can be moved anticlockwise, during normal running of the weft W<1>, by the upward movement of a yarn tensioning member D. On weft breakage, the lever B-B<2> remains stationarv and the catch T is engaged by the frog F to effect stoppage through a lever T<2>. Trip catch mechanism at the opposite side of the loom is connected to the lever T2 by a rod T5.
