Abstract
455,367. Valve circuits for wireless reception. SONORA RADIO SOC. ANON., 5, Rue de la Mairie, Puteaux, Seine, France. Jan. 11, 1935, No. 1038. Void [Abridged as open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, July 22, 1935]. [Class 40 (v)] In a wireless receiver the incoming signal is superimposed on a local oscillation, the resultant from which is again superimposed on the signal to give a modulated wave having the frequency of the local oscillator. The Figure shows an arrangement in which the signal is applied to the grids of valves M2, OM1. The valve OM1 is an oscillator modulator and its output is applied to the second control grid of the modulator M2 to yield a resultant equal to the frequency of the oscillator circuit of the valve OM1. A frequency changer may precede the arrangement described, Fig. 4 (not shown), and the local oscillation may be used to homodyne the signal for final detection, Fig. 2 (not shown).
