[Class 7 (ii)] Means for venting the cylinders, when an engine is being stored, so as to facilitate the periodic rotation of the crank-shaft, e.g. by hand, to distribute the lubricant, comprise replacing a sparking-plug, a liquid-fuel injector, or an igniter, by a fitting having a valve which can be opened either manually or by the pressure created by the piston. The valve may comprise a flat disc lightly loaded by a coil spring.
