[Class 136 (iii)] A cycle saddle comprises a tension-spring or other resilient hammock top d, d<1> supported from the ends of a frame formed of two parts a, b<1> pivoted together at a<2>, the front part a being provided with an attachment clip c, and the top d constituting not only the resilient seating surface but also the sole resilient means for controlling the pivotal movement of the rear frame part b<1>. The pivotal movement is limited by a lug-and-slot connection a<4>, b<3> between the parts a, b<1>. The tension of the springs or other elastic devices may be adjusted by means of a screw &c. at the peak.
