[Classes 83 (ii) and 83 (iv)] Corrugating.-A radiator element is made by corrugating a sheet between a fixed matrix 2 anc spring pressed sliding dies 5 to 9, the middle die 7 forming the first corrugation and the others operating in succession, each die being held down by the blocks 13 so thai the metal is gatherec in towards the centre without lateral stretch. ing. The corrugated sheet is then doubled over at its centre to make diamond shaped channels Fig. 3, and the ends are then sealed to complete the radiator element.
