Abstract

453,801. Plug couplings. T.M.C.- HARWELL (SALES), Ltd., and LAXTON, G. W., 233, Shaftesbury Avenue, London. Aug. 29, 1935, No. 24178. [Class 38 (i)] An electric plug connector 10 is formed with a recess 11, the contact pins 12 being moulded in the base and furnished with terminals 13. The outer part of the body is of U-shade in outline and is formed with a slot 14 having a groove 15 and cross-ribs 16 for gripping the cable. The cover 17 fits substantially completely within the recess 11 and is provided with a tongue 18 having a groove 19 and ribs 20 to co-operate with the gripping surfaces on the body. The cover is secured by screws 23, one on each side of the gripping devices.
