[Class 3 (ii)] [See also Group XI] A circular chamber, containing one or more light sources A below ground level at a radial point within a traffic island for the diffused lighting of its rounded kerb, is built up above ground level and some of the light rays from the sources A are projected by reflectors G through transparent directional signs, notices, or advertisements F. The light sources may be electric, gas, or oil lamps, and the circular chamber may be made of brick, concrete, or metal and fitted with a service door H.
