Convention date, July 20. [Class 75 (iv)] In a lamp for decorative lighting or for advertising purposes, a volume of any desired shape is formed by assembling a number of different reflectors of the same general form disposed in parallel planes and each equipped towards its periphery with sources of light. In the form shown, a sphere is formed by a number of circular metal reflectors 1 coated on both faces with diffusing paint and equipped peripherally with electric discharge tubes 8. The reflectors are spaced apart by stays 21 and are secured to a central support 2. The reflectors may be flanged, they may be constituted by simple rings connected by rods to the central support, and they may be fitted with light sources on their upper and/or lower surfaces. The sphere may be replaced by a double pyramid.
