452,434. Framework joints. BARKER, E. F., 43, Chester Road, Redcar, Yorkshire. Feb. 21, 1935, No. 5577. [Class 20 (ii)] Intersecting beams a, b are joined by providing the beams with staggered recesses c on each side, the extremities of the recess in each member lying within the planes which bound the complemental beam, the webs d between the recesses in each beam being notched at f half way through their depths, so that the beams interfit and lie with their surfaces flush. The joints may be applied to square, rectangular, I- or T-section bars, and the members may cross each other at right-angles or at other angles.
