[Class 40 (iv)] The reverberation deficiencies of the sound emitted in a studio or auditorium S are made up in retransmission by passing selected frequencies through a reverberation chamber C. The frequencies to be treated are selected as required by a filter or filters F in the path or paths through the chamber C, and adjustable amplifiers P may be included therein and in the main path. The sound picked up by the microphone n in the chamber C may if desired be reproduced by loud-speakers in the auditorium S.
