451,269. Liquid-fuel burners. ETABLISSEMENTS NATIONAL ECONOMIC, 13, Rue Louis Blanc, Paris. Oct. 30, 1934, No. 31119. Void [Abridged as open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, May 1, 1935]. [Class 75 (i)] Liquid fuel is supplied through a vertical duct 1 and horizontal duct 5 to an annular chamber 6 from'which it overflows over a partition 8 to an annular space 7 around the duct 1 and passes through a flared opening to a wick arranged in a channel 10 provided at the bottom of perforated wall 12. On igniting the wick the walls of the space 7 and chamber 6 become heated sufficiently to vaporize the fuel and the vapour burns with air admitted through the perforations in the wall 12. A flared flange 14 in the wall 12 prevents excess fuel from escaping when the burner is first ignited.
