450,293. Glazing window frames ; panels. HUNTER, L. G., 30, Linden Boulevard, Flushing, Long Island, New York, U.S.A. Dec. 6, 1935, No. 33831. [Classes 20 (iii) and 20 (iv)] A glass or other panel is retained in a metal flanged channelframe 3 between resilient facing strips 18, 10. The rear facing strip 10 is pressed into the recessed shelf 6 and held by lugs 15 engaging a throated recess in the strip, and the front strip has a flange 19 protruding be. neath the flange 6 and a rib 5 resting on the front limb of the frame. The rear strip may project over the edge of the limb 4 of the frame and has a base part which is deeper than the recess of the shelf. The strips may be cut where they meet at sharp corners.
