Abstract

449,380. Weaving warp pile fabrics. BANYAI, M., Reichgasse, Vienna. Oct. 4, 1935, No. 27376. [Classes 142 (ii) and 142 (iv)] In weaving multicoloured pile fabrics with binder warp threads 1, but without a stuffer warp other than that formed by the pile warp threads 3, wires 8 fixed to a support 11 are controlled by a heald 7 so as to lie between the upper and lower wefts, the free ends of the wires extending a distance into the fabric but being withdrawn therefrom as the take up proceeds and serving as a guide for the wefts at the beat up.
