[Class 140] [See also Group X] Flexible sheeting for use as a lining for tanks, bridges, and subways or as a dampcourse comprises surface layers of bituminous composition and one or more intermediate thin metal sheets the surfaces of which are provided with indentations and elevations. One or more sheets of woven or felted fabric of organic or inorganic fibres such as hemp, jute, or asbestos, which may be impregnated with bituminous composition, may also be incorporated. Thus, hessian impregnated and coated on both sides with bituminous composition is united by one of the coatings to a sheet of lead indented by rolling, and a further coating of bituminous composition applied to the surface of the lead sheet. The bituminous compositions described in Specification 411,672 may be employed.
