[Class 120 (ii)] The drum winding- machine described in Specification 415,505, is improved or modified so as to provide a winding-machine, which may or may not be provided with a knock-off and braking or stop-motion, having an arm or lever d with a cam face e which bears upon a bowl c on the cradle at a point below its fulcrum b in the setting-on lever h and is loaded by an arm or lever d<2>, integral therewith or secured thereto, carrying a weight g the arm being so shaped and the weight so positioned in relation to the cam face that the weight exerts its maximum effort when the cradle is displaced to its maximum winding position.
