Abstract

441,569. Cleaning beer pipes &c. HEATH, Ltd., W. H., and LAWRENCE, J. E., 35, Thornhill Road, Barnsbury, London. Oct. 3, 1934, No. 28251. [Class 99 (ii)] A beer pump and its supply pipe from the cask are cleaned by the passage therethrough of a mixture of cleansing fluid and air from a T-headed pipe C which is immersed in a bucket &c. of cleansing fluid and is provided with a connection A for attachment to the beer supply pipe and a non-return valve B adapted to open to admit air upon actuation of the pump. The non- return valve B may be. replaced by an ordinary screw-down valve, and the pipe C is preferably provided with a clip D for securing it to the said bucket.
