Tubes for drinking beverages.-The stem of a " bombilla " or tube for drinking beverages is made in several detachable pieces to facilitate cleaning, and is provided with non-return valves which are accessible when the tube is taken to pieces. In the form shown, the piece b screws on to the perforated head a and carries at its upper end a ball valve f. To the piece b is screwed a piece c formed at its lower end with slots through which the liquid can pass around the ball f and fitting with a push-on fit to a piece d which carries a second ball valve g and is screwed on to the mouth-piece e.
