[Class 97 (v)] [See also Group XXIX] In a motor vehicle transmission comprising a hydraulic torque converter of the Fottinger type and a hydraulic or mechanical clutch, automatic means being provided for determining whether the converter or clutch is in operation, additional non-automatic control means is also provided, the arrangement being that when the throttle lever of the engine is displaced past its full throttle position or in the opposite direction past its no-load position, a change over from the clutch to the converter takes place.
