Abstract

440,221. Electrolytic condensers. MAGNAVOX CO., 2131, Bueter Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana, U.S.A.-(Assignees of Barrett, J. J. ; 914, Kensington Boulevard, Fort Wayne, Indiana, U.S.A.) Nov. 12, 1934, No. 32523. Convention date, Nov. 11, 1933. [Class 37] An electrode for an electrolytic condenser is prepared by etching the surface in an aqueous solution of copper chloride. Preferably the process comprises cleaning the electrode in sodium hydroxide etching in copper chloride solution immersing in nitric acid to stop the etching and then washing. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 433,818.
