Abstract

484,159. Etching. GMACH, L. T. Oct. 28, 1936, No. 29340. [Class 100 (ii)] An agent to prevent the precipitation of copper, e.g. a solvent for the copper, is added to a solution containing copper, preferably a mixture of copper and iron chlorides, used in the etching of sheet aluminium. The agent may be a mixture of aluminium chloride and hydrochloric acid.
