[Class 37] In an inductance coil in which the value of the inductance is adjusted by varying the distance between the turns or groups of turns 3 mounted on a common rigid support 2, one or more devices 5 are provided which are adjustable relatively to the support and engage each turn or group of turns separately. In the form shown, the device 5 comprises a rotatable member with inclined grooves 6 engaging the turns 3, the grooves being at different distances from one another so that when the turns are displaced they remain at equal distances from one another. The coil support 2, or a member 7 secured thereto, may also be provided with grooves 10 for the reception of the turns. The base 1 of the coil support may be combined with a trimming condenser 8 which is adjusted by a screw 9.
