A liquid fuel for internal-combustion engines consists of a hydrocarbon distillate having a boiling range of 70--100 DEG C., and ethyl, methyl, isopropyl, isobutyl or other alcohol. A blending or stabilizing agent such as benzene or a hydrocarbon with a high benzene content may be added. Specification 128,917, [Class 91], is referred to.
