437,170. Cycle-lamp brackets. BERRY, F. H., 31, Knight Street, and ROBERTS, C. E., 1, Sugnall Street, both in Liverpool. March 22, 1935, No. 8945. [Class 75 (iii)] [See also Group XXXI] A lamp bracket 6 is pivoted at 5 to a bracket 1 secured to a front or rear fork &c. of the cycle, and is adapted to be turned down to engage the spokes of a wheel for preventing theft of the cycle, the bracket 6 being secured in either position by a padlock 8. The padlock bow passes through holes 9 in the cheeks 4, 4<a> of the bracket 1, and takes through or over the bracket 6. The bracket 1 may be gripped to the fork by a bridge piece 11 secured by screws 12. A guard 13 is pivoted to the bridge 11 to take over the screw heads 12 and prevent their removal when the bracket 6 is locked in the lower position, the guard being prevented from turning in one direction by a screw-head and in the other direction by the engagement of a projection 14 under the bracket 6. The padlock may be replaced by a combination or other lock integral with the bracket 1.
