Abstract
436,437. Spray carburetters. SCHORSCH, I., 1511, Svobodarna, Prague. June 20, 1935, No. 17712. [Class 7 (iii)] Fuel supplied through an elbow tube 26 to the first of a series of telescopically arranged truncated conical chambers 31 .. 34, the remote ends of which are closed by fine mesh wire gauze, is mixed therein with air from an inlet 50. The chambers may be cylindrical instead of conical. Fuel enters a sleeve 15 through a passage 12 and is drawn to the elbow 26 past a valve 17 operated by a rod 22 secured by a rigid connection 51 to the rod of a piston disposed in a chamber parallel to the chamber 6 of the valve 17, the piston being connected to a link 38 pivoted to the control arm 37 of the throttle 36. Air may be admitted to the fuel through a port 42.
