Slack between guide rollers i, k may be taken up by means of two rollers m, n mounted in a pivoted frame o stressed in one direction by a weight q. Instead of the fabric remaining in contact with a heated roller for half a revolution it may be passed round guide rollers h arranged as shown in Fig. 3.
