Rollers.-A roller for mangling and squeezing fabrics is covered with alternate coils of fabric impregnated with rubber, and rubber sheet, both coils being applied with the material under such a tension that they will resist further extension in use. The core a may be fluted, one or more coils of the covering being forced into the flutes, then a layer f of rubber applied and the coiling b<1> continued.
